hot flashes news scars

Alex Zeraib, guitarist for Brazilian metallers SCARS, has issued the following update:

"I come hereby to inform of the band's restructuring: following drummer Patrick Leung's discharge in early May, for personal and professional reasons, a considerable amount of quarreling set in Scars, which caused Eduardo Boccomino (guitar), Régis F. (vocals) e André Sterzza (bass), to also leave, respectively, by their own choice. Scars is currently in studio sessions for the making of their coming album and will be far from concerts until the CD is launched, late this year. Scars is now made up by: Alex Zeraib (guitars), André Guilger (guitars/vocals) and Alex Nasser (drums). There is no substitute, as of yet, to take over the bass. Scars was very welcomed back to the scene with its 2005 album, The Nether Hell. Since then and all throughout, we've been making new fans and meeting old ones, going on tours with many bands, we've made new partnerships, great friends and powerful allies to keep the thrash metal flag blazing up high. We have a very strong commitment to all these people who support us and make what Scars is today. Such commitment will be honored and Scars stands its ground, wishing all the best to its once-again former members, and may our paths meet soon."
