SLASH Records Track With MARY J. BLIGE

Guitarist SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) is currently recording his forthcoming, second solo album, expected to be released in March/April 2012. R&B; superstar MARY J. BLIGE is set to appear on the release, and has recorded her session with Slash.
In a brief update, Slash states: "Just finished a session with Mike Clink engineering on a track with Mary J. Blige. Sounds killer!"
Slash has been chosen as this year's Road Recovery honouree. He will be performing the Road To Recovery’s annual concert in New York, NY at the Best Buy Theater on September 13th.
Slash will be performing with Matt Sorum (GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER), Duff McKagan (GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER, LOADED), Gilby Clarke (ex-Guns N’ Roses), MC5’s Wayne Kramer, and more.
