SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM, who released their first album for The End Records titled In Glorious Times last year, are working on a short film to commence production this summer.

In a posting online, the band says, "While it may be no secret that what is almost certainly The Last Human Being has been found, rinsed off and made ready for scrutiny, few are aware of the storm of controversy surrounding its interpretation by the scientific community, its treatment, its effect on nervous persons, and its future. In our continuing commitment to excavating the hidden present, the Museum is once again joining forces with director Adam Feinstein ('Helpless Corpses Enactment') to expose the limits of reason by poking at something with a stick. Stand back!"

The band have scheduled a one-off show next week in San Francisco with labelmates ESTRADASPHERE on February 16th at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA. The band is planning a North American tour in September and October.
