Surf Rock Legend Don Wilson From THE VENTURES Passes At 88

Don Wilson, co-founder and rhythm guitarist of surf rock legends The Ventures, has passed away from natural causes at the age 88.
The official Ventures Instagram page has posted the following statement: “Don Wilson, guitarist for Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame group, The Ventures, passed away this morning. Don was an inspiration and mentor. He was a unique talent that inspired countless musicians like us. We lost a good friend, fellow musician, world class performer, and beloved bandmate. Don Wilson has left the stage. We will miss him always."
The Ventures became world famous with such hits as "Walk, Don't Run”, "Wipe Out" and the theme for ”Hawaii Five-O”. They are the best-selling instrumental band of all time, with over 100 million records sold.
