SYLENCER, the Chicago supergroup formerly known as ASYLUM, featuring band members Markus Johansson (lead guitars/lead vocals) and Johnny Rox (bass guitar), have inked a deal with dPulse Recordings/Ovrtone Music Group, Inc., with distribution partners NEO MCC GmbH/ Sony Music Entertainment Germany for the European market.

Scheduled for release in Europe early summer 2012, the as-yet-untitled album is currently in post-production at legendary Ocean Way Studios, Hollywood, CA. A North American release of the debut album from Sylencer is also expected later in 2012 and an aggressive 2012-13 tour schedule is in the planning.

The album features Kevin Talley on drums (DAATH, CHIMAIRA, DYING FETUS) and guitarist Larry Tarnowski (ICED EARTH).
