TAKARA guitarist Neal Grusky has issued the following update:

"Hey Everyone,

It is rarely I ever think of posting something non-Takara related. It is as a matter of fact has not happened yet. I noticed this Thursday (March 19th) it will be the 27th anniversary of the passing of the late and most certainly great guitar legend Randy Rhoads. While it may not be well known how profound of an influence he had on me as a guitarist, let me say here and now, he was one of the most influential guitarists to me over the course of my career. Thus, the Bob Daisley guest appearance on the second and third Takara albums, to this day he is one of my best friends. Nonetheless, there will be a special Randy Rhoads festivsal at the Whiskey A Go-Go club in hollywood this Thursday. I plan on attending it. I hope to see some of you there that live here in So-Cal.

I also understand Randy's brother and sister will be in attendance too, as well Kelly Garni the former QUIET RIOT bassist and best friend from Randy childhood years. Rumor has it JSS will also be there, but so far I cannot confirm this myself, so maybe it is hearsay. I hope all you Randy fans come out and join us to celebrate an amazing musician and his life.

On another note, Takara is preparing for live shows. Also, writting new songs for the follow up album to our recent release Invitation To Forever. Which is available direct from our site. We plan on releasing demos with JSS from 1988. Never heard before, and amazing sounding. Also, some very special surprise live stuff will follow up that release too!!

Keep Rocking and Horns Up Metalheads!!"
