TED NUGENT Rocks U.S. Troops In Iraq

The Associated Press reports:
Rock guitarist and noted outdoorsman TED NUGENT (along with country music star Toby Keith) met with U.S. troops at Camp Phoenix in Kabul, Afghanistan on Thursday, (June 3) prior to a United Service Organizations (USO) performance for coalition forces. Nugent and Keith performed in Baghdad Saturday, (June 5).
More than 500 soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen crowded around a stage at a U.S. installation. "You guys are doing a great job over here," Nugent told the audience. It was one of several stops in Iraq for the pair, who are visiting Iraq as part of a USO tour.
They had previously performed for U.S. service members in Kosovo, Germany and Italy.
