TYGERS OF PAN TANG, BLAZE BAYLEY and SHY are among the acts confirmed for the Cliveaid event The Lunatics Asylum Festival, which will take place on May 31st at The Asylum in Birmingham, England. The festival billing is as follows: TYGERS OF PAN TANG, BLAZE BAYLEY, SHY, BLACK MOLLY, MILLION$RELOAD, HANGING DOLL, HEADRUSH, CIVILLIAN.
Cliveaid was founded in 2004 as a onetime gig to raise money for the original IRON MAIDEN drummer Clive Burr, who is suffering from MS. The idea was to help Clive to a better life, and also to show him how much he means to the Rock world. The gig went beyond what anyone had imagined, and it was soon discovered that many, many more could be helped by the support and giving mindset of the rock world. Now, Cliveaid is about supporting research on Multiple Schlerosis and teenage cancer.
