VELVET REVOLVER frontman Scott Weiland's MySpace page has been updated with the following message from "Mashu":

"Hey everyone,

First off I wanted to thank all of you for staying up late to watch Scott on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. If you saw it, then you know it rocked.

Secondly, I just wanted to give you all a little update from the studio on the new Velvet Revolver record. Having spent some time with the guys during pre-production and now most currently in the studio, I have to say that this thing is coming off amazingly. With Producer Brendan O'Brien in charge of the ship, the guys are sounding awesome.

More than once I've heard Scott say that this is the best album he's ever done and that he hasn't been this excited since putting out Purple with STP (STONE TEMPLE PILOTS).

Right now I can count at least 5 - 6 singles and a bunch of other stuff that's killing it too. Slash is ripping, Dave is killing, Duff is whaling, Matt is slamming and Scott is throwing it down hard. I'll of course give you more updates as they come and try to get a little blog from Scott himself very soon.

I was thinking, how bout an interview with Scott. Come up with some questions for me to ask him on this blog and I will pick 5 of the best and give them to him to answer.
