VIXEN Cancel Kickstarter Project

VIXEN recently announced the launch of a Kickstarter project to raise funds for recording a new album on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the release of their first album, Vixen.
An update from Vixen states:
"You may have noticed that we have decided to cancel funding for this project. We are very happy to report that we recently received an offer that was too good to refuse, as they say, so we thought it was appropriate to cancel this project and focus on other opportunities.The good news is, as we have promised before, we will be recording a new album this year and we expect to release it in honor of the 25th anniversary of the release of the first Vixen album.
For those of you who pledged to support us, we will not forget you. We hope to see you on tour and please stay in touch via our monthly newsletter. Thanks for all your love and support and keep rocking! We certainly will."
