Classic Rock Revisited has issued an exclusive interview with vocalist ROBERT FLEISCHMAN (ex-JOURNEY, VINNIE VINCENT INVASION), conducted by Jeb Wright. The following is an excerpt:

Q: This new album shows a different side of your persona then Vinnie Vincent or Journey fans may know you for. Describe the need to continue to change musically.

A: "Most songwriters stick to one genre and sort of dig a niche for themselves and they feel very safe in it. They just continue without exploring other areas musically. So to me it’s like drawing with only two colors. I look at songwriting as a painter would. One day I like to paint landscapes and the next day I prefer figurative paintings. What I am basically saying is I like to paint with many colors and I think that’s what makes music exciting for me. Also, I enjoy the process of reinventing myself. I think it is important to stay on the cutting edge of music and connect with the fans that way."

As previously reported, Robert is set to release his new solo album, Look At The Dream, through Spirt Box Music in March. The album will be up at iTunes this month.
