VOODOO SIX, the London-based band have taken the rather unique approach of starting to leak out samples of their new album on their Facebook Page rather than the bands website. Band founder and bass guitarist Tony Newton (ex-DIRTY DEEDS) explained: “We have been fortunate to have toured the world with bands such as IRON MAIDEN, DIO, and EXTREME, and also played some of the largest festivals across the UK and Europe, as well as our own headline tours, and that opportunity has brought us a loyal growing fan base around the world. So rather than posting the songs on our official site, we thought we would expose them in a forum where the fans can discuss and tell us what they think – without it being filtered or moderated.”

The band recently recruited Luke Purdie, an unknown singer to front the band, and critics are saying his vocal style has brought a radio friendliness to the band that has eluded them previously. The as-yet-unnamed album will be released in February, and will coincide with a UK tour, and select dates across Europe.

The band's new album was mixed by Mike Fraser (LED ZEPPELIN, AC/DC, METALLICA, AEROSMITH, VAN HALEN, MOTLEY CRÜE).
