Where Is JUDAS PRIEST In Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Fan Vote?

The fan vote is currently underway for the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Class Of 2022. The top five artists, as selected by the public, will comprise a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to choose the 2022 inductees.

As of now, more than one million fan votes have been cast, with Eminem, Duran Duran, Pat Benatar, Dolly Parton and Eurythmics rounding out the current top five. Lionel Richie is a close 6th, with Judas Priest right behind him in 7th place.

Current tally:

Eminem - 141,432 votes
Duran Duran - 118,593
Pat Benatar - 112,091
Dolly Parton - 95,339
Eurythmics - 72,543
Lionel Richie - 66,853
Judas Priest - 64,900

Visit vote.rockhall.com to cast a ballot daily. Fans will need to login to vote. Voting is capped at one ballot per day.

If induction happens for Judas Priest, Rob Halford and Ian Hill both say they’ll be happy to stand alongside founding guitarist K.K.Downing, who parted ways with the band acrimoniously in 2011 and now leads his own band, K.K.’s Priest.

“It’s not a problem to us, no,” Hill tells Billboard. “Ken was an integral part of this band for a very, very long time. He deserves to be there along with the rest of us.”

Halford predicts that, “It won’t be as awkward as Ace and Peter [with KISS]. I don’t think it’ll be awkward at all. I think you have to let all of that go because it’s the night that matters. It’s the moment that matters - but, again, the proverbial saying, we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.”

You can vote every day at ote.rockhall.com/ until April 29th. Voting is capped at one ballot, per day."
