In a new audio interview with Metal Shock Finland's Tarja Virmakari, Within Temptation's Sharon den Adel discusses the band's Hydra album, and reveals the group's "ultimate dream". Listen to the interview, streaming at this location.
After months of blood, sweat and tears the beast is unleashed and the first part of the Hydra tour is done. While the band was on the road, Sharon den Adel kept a video diary of the tour that showed you what happens during and in between shows, and what it's like for the band to bring Hydra to the stage and see people respond to the new songs for the first time.
In this extra-long, 10th episode of the Hydra Tour Diary, Sharon looks back on the shows so far and she unveils what sentence she created with all of the dragons on the road.
Within Temptation recently announced 12 dates for the North American leg of their Hydra World Tour, which launched in Finland in February. Opening all shows will be Swedish/Danish power/ melodic death metallers Amaranthe.
Sharon shares the following about the upcoming trek: “It's a great feeling that after so many years we are back with a coast-to-coast tour. The reception of our latest album Hydra has been overwhelming and we cannot wait to unleash the dragon overseas. Be sure that this time we'll bring our biggest and best North American live show so far.”
