RAZOR - The Evil Invaders Alive

Captured in 1985, this live CD documents the original Razor lineup ripping through tracks from their Armed and Dangerous EP, Executioners Song debut and the now legendary Evil Invaders platter. It's a hoot to hear Stace “Sheepdog” McLaren at work again, an underrated vocalist who commanded attention with his unique growl and stage presence. The rest of the band ain't too shabby either, happily dishing out the frenetic thrash to the Hogtown speed merchants. A word of warning though, the sound on this is basically bootleg quality, but those who want to relive past excesses will simply turn this baby up and ignore the less than pristine clarity. Ten tracks of no compromise live “Canadian speed thrash metal” for the true banger. Includes a band history essay and three demos of early Razor classics ('Take This Torch', 'Fast & Loud' and 'Hot Metal').
