DIAMOND HEAD Gets Electric In Newport!

NWOBHM legends Diamond Head are on their first North American jaunt in forever and in Newport, KY at The Southgate House Revival on May 23rd, the Brits were firing on all cylinders. The 14 song setlist included eight numbers from their highly regarded Lightning To The Nations debut as well as three from the new self-titled album.
Of course the most famous track (thanks Metallica) “Am I Evil?” was played, but strangely that was not the encore, as that honor went to “Sucking My Love” a 9 minute jaunt that closed an awesome set. The tour wrapped up on May 27th in Pryor, OK, but fear not, the band has a few more dates in the US this August:
