A year ago, rumors were that, moving forward, the fest would return to just two days, but a trio of dates have already been advertised for 2019. Initial day saw a variety of genres, including standout performances from Swiss Misses, Burning Witches, hard rockers Eclipse, the musical comedy of Alestorm, the sweet groove of Amorphis, Bay Area punishment served up by Exodus, the Metal Queen herself, Doro Pesch and the evening's headliners, Europe.
