OZZY OSBOURNE To Be Crowned Living Legend At The Classic Rock Awards

OZZY OSBOURNE, lead vocalist of BLACK SABBATH, the heavy metal band, will collect the award for his long career, spanning four decades.
"I couldn't be happier to know that Classic Rock haven't written me off! Seriously, it's a great honour and I'm looking forward to going to my first Classic Rock Awards in November. Can't wait to see you there," the singer said.
LED ZEPPELIN, KISS, DEF LEPPARD and WHITESNAKE have also been shortlisted in the Band Of The Year category.
KISS, FOO FIGHTERS, AIRBOURNE, STONE GODS, BLACK CROWES, ALICE COOPER, METALLICA and AC/DC are all up for awards.
Guests expected to attend the event include SLASH, JEFF BECK, BOB GELDOF, JIMMY PAGE, MC5, DAVID COVERDALE, CHRIS MOYLES and NODDY HOLDER.
