DAVID ELLEFSON Reports On Bass Player LIVE! Event; Video Footage, Photos Available

Bass legend DAVID ELLEFSON (F5, ex-MEGADETH) has posted the following update:
"I spent this past weekend in Los Angeles at the Bass Player LIVE! event. We've posted some new video clips on the site as well as photos in the gallery for you to a peak inside the all star campus of bass gods living and breathing what we like to do best.... rock on the bass!I had a special treat at the Saturday night All-Star bass jam held at the Key Club on Sunset. My jam included drummer Greg Bissonette as well as P-Nut from 311, Tony Franklin (fretless god from THE FIRM) my good friend Steve Bailey, and more. I also got to spend some quality backstage time getting to know Mike Watts of MINUTEMEN fame, who Flea (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS) presented with a lifetime acheievment award.
Probably more bass chops in one weekend than you could ever find anywhere on the planet this, the event was a blast and was good for the low-end soul.
