ROBOT LORDS OF TOKYO - New Album Featuring Members Of AMERICAN DOG, ICARUS WITCH, MAGNITUDE 9, NEIL ZAZA
November 7, 2008, 16 years ago
The ROBOT LORDS OF TOKYO, an Ohio-based duo consisting of Rick Ritzler and Paul Jones, have released their second album, Whiskey, Blood & Napalm. The Robo Lords are a 'PROBOT-like' metal project featuring a variety of special guests, including the six-string talents of Steve Theado (AMERICAN DOG), Neil Zaza, Steve Pollick (ex-ICARUS WITCH, ORDER OF NINE) and Rob Johnson (MAGNITUDE 9), among others. The album, which features classic, old-school metal riffing laced with generous doses of southern/doom groove, was once again co-produced by Joe Viers (GILBY CLARKE, JAKE E. LEE, AMERICAN DOG, BOBAFLEX). In addition to nine new originals, the CD features the Lords reworking of the obscure KISS gem 'Larger Than Life'. Visit www.myspace.com/robotlords for details.
