US metallers DARKEST HOUR have issued the following update:

"Taking a break from working on their next studio album Darkest Hour will hit the road for a few select dates in December. Joining the band on the outing will be THE RED CHORD, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, SKELETONWITCH and ROSE FUNERAL."

Regarding their new record and guitarist Mike Schleibaum comments: "We have been traveling between Richmond, VA and Baltimore, MD the past month or so working on the material and couldn't be more stoked. Every Darkest Hour record is an experience to make (to say the least) and this record is no exception. Its been a lot of long hours and long days but the record is beginning to take shape and that is always an amazing thing to see happen.

Who knows, shows in December, we might just play a new song or two!"

The above mentioned live dates include:

December

18 - Wilmington, NC - The Soapbox (no The Red Chord)
19 - Philadelphia, PA - The Church
20 - Pompton Lakes, NJ - Mainstage
21 - Washington, DC - 930 Club
