LABYRINTH/NECRODEATH Guitarist Pier Gonella Launches MASTERCASTLE; New Album Details Revealed

Lion Music have announces the signing of MASTERCASTLE, a new band from acclaimed Italian guitarist Pier Gonella (LABYRINTH/NECRODEATH/ODYSSEA) and ultra powerful female vocalist Giorgia Gueglio with the line up completed by bassist Steve Vawamas and guest drummer Bix (VISION DIVINE). Their forthcoming album The Phoenix, due for release in the second quarter of 2008 is in the final stages of recording now and "represents a potent slab of power metal with neo-classical and more traditional metal influences," according to a press release.
The Phoenix will feature the following tracks: 'Words Are Swords', 'Princess Of Love', 'Space', 'My Screams', 'Lullaby Noir', 'The Phoenix', 'Greed Blade', 'Dawn Of Promises', 'Memories', 'Cradle Of Stone'.
