Prior to long-running Danish rockers PRETTY MAIDS' October 31st gig at Gimble in Roskilde, Denmark, Jesper Callesen from CallesRockCorner conducted an interview with frontman Ronnie Atkins. The following is an excerpt:

Q: What’s your opinion on the Danish rock scene, like it is now compared to the time when you came out?

A: "There’s a lot more rock today compared to when we started in the 80s. Back then you only had us, and in Copenhagen you had WITCHCROSS and MERCYFUL FATE. There hasn’t been that many rock bands up until the 90s, where you had a whole new generation of rock bands like KASHMIR, DIZZY MIZZ LIZZY and those types of bands."
