STEVIE SALAS And JOE SATRIANI Say Good-Bye To JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE Drummer MITCH MITCHELL

As previously reported, Mitch Mitchell, drummer for the legendary JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE of the 1960s, was found dead in his Portland hotel room on November 12th. He died of natural causes. Guitarist Stevie Salas has checked in with the following statement:
"I am at the House Of Blues in San Diego getting ready to go on stage and jam with Joe Satriani and Leslie West from MOUNTAIN after a great interview with Joe for my TV show, Arbor Live. We both heard the sad news about the passing of the great Jimi Hendrix Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell. I was lucky enough to play with him and Billy Cox in front of 50 thousand people a few years ago in Japan and he will be missed."Stevie
