Late JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE Drummer Died Of "Natural Causes"

According to AP, Mitch Mitchell, the former drummer for the JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE, died in his sleep of natural causes, an autopsy revealed Thursday.
Mitchell, 61, whose fusion style allowed him and one of history’s greatest guitar players to feed off each other, was found early Wednesday in his room at the Benson Hotel in Portland.
Dr. Christopher Young of the Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s Office said Mitchell may have not sought medical help because “sometimes people don’t realize how sick they are.”
Mitchell’s final performance was the last stop on the West Coast leg of the Experience Hendrix tribute tour.
