Wacken Open Air Festival 2009 - EPICA Confirmed

EPICA are the latest act confirmed for the Wacken Open Air festival 2009, which is scheduled to take place from July 30th - August 1st in Wacken, Germany.
Confirmed acts for the festival include: AMON AMARTH, CALLEJON, CATHEDRAL, EINHERJER, EPICA, HAMMERFALL, IN EXTREMO, IN FLAMES, KAMPFAR, KORPIKLAANI, MACHINE HEAD, NEVERMORE, AXEL RUDI PELL, TRISTANIA, WALLS OF JERICHO.

Tickets include:
- free parking (for any vehicle like car, motorbike, camper van or caravan)- free camping - right next to the vehicle for the W:O:A feeling (if the weather conditions are good enough).

Organizers of Germany's Wacken Open Air recently announced details regarding the sixth round of the W:O:A Metal Battle. The international final will be held on the WET stage at the W:O:A 2009 from July 31st-August 2nd. The first prize for the international winner is a record deal with Wacken Records. 16 countries currently participate in the W:O:A Metal Battle.
