DARKANE's Christofer Malmström - "It's Not That We Intend To Wait Three Years Between The Releases..."

Greece's Solid Rock has issued an interview with DARKANE guitarist Christofer Malmström. The following is an excerpt from the interview, conducted by Dionissis:
Q: It seems that Darkane’s perfect time distance between albums is 3 years (with the exception of Expanding Senses release)! How did the creation for this album evolve? Did anything strange or unexpected happen during the recording process?
A: "It’s not that we intend to wait three years between the releases, but that has unfortunately happened for the two last releases. Before Layers Of Lies we toured Japan, Europe and Israel and then Peter got sick in his wrists so we had to wait for almost a year before he could play the drums again, and then we had to start practise, so that took some time. After Layers Of Lies we toured North America and Europe and then three of us got kids which naturally slowed things down. In the summer and autumn of 2007 we wrote most of Demonic Art and then started to record it in February 2008. Nothing strange happened, but it took longer than we had hoped for simply because we are very careful and want the best sound as possible."
