Portuguese metal act SCAR FOR LIFE have issued the following update:

"Hi everyone,

Scar For Life's first promotional video for the single 'My Last Words' is going to be filmed November 26th, 27th at the Hospital de Bonecas (Doll's Hospital), the same place where were taken all the photos for the album concept.

The filming is done in a partnership with UAL - Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, which is a higher establishment recognised by the Ministry of Education as an institution of public interest. This means that this video is a project for the students finalists in video department.

They have already made 6 scripts, and I was with their tutor yesterday adapting one final script for the project. All I have to say is that I'm amazed by all the ideas, effort and dedication that everyone is putting in this crazy idea.

Right now, we are looking for a female model for the main role. I hope to find the right girl this week. This is going to be interesting :)

As previously reported, the band's self-titled debut album is available for free download until the end of November at their official website.

Scar For Life was recorded in June/July at Ultra Sound System Studios with Daniel Cardoso handling the mixing duties. According to Alex S (VYRUZ, REDSTAINS), "each track is like a recollection of something that was already lived, a sound memory. Ethereal, melancholy, deep and touching, vehicled in a varied and layered taste, yet always intertwined with a strong heavy riff drive, hard indeed it will be not to be scarred by this adventurous new project."
