BW&BK Exclusive: LOUDNESS Frontman MINORU NIIHARA To Release Second Live Solo Album In 2009

LOUDNESS frontman Minoru Niihara has informed BW&BK; that he will release a new live solo album, R&R; Gypsy Show 2, in 2009. Following the recently released R&R; Gypsy Show double live CD (details below), this second outing was recorded in Yokohama, Japan over two days. Niihara's backing band for the shows included Loudness bassist Masayoshi Yamashita, guitarist Atsushi Yokozeki, and XYZ-A drummer/bandmate Funky Sueyoshi. Mixing for the album is due to begin soon and will be handled by Niihara himself.

As previously reported the R & R Gypsy Show album, out now, wasecorded on May 9th and 10th, 2008 at Kagurazaka Dimension, it features Niihara performing solo material, some rarely played Loudness classics, and material from his former band SLY. The tracklist is as follows:
