NIGHTSHADE, featuring former USURPER guitarist Rick Scythe, have issued the following update:

"There?'?s a liste?ning/?viewi?ng party? tonig?ht (Sunday, November 23) at Exit (1315 W North? Ave.) in Chica?go,? IL (773.395.2700 - www.exitc?hicag?o.?com) for our debut? DVD/?CD: ?Autum?nal Equin?ox. Tons of beer,? drink?s,? give-aways,? and a chanc?e to view the Night?shade? video?s as well as hear the entir?e album?.? Ferna?ndo Caste?l from Sempi?terna?l produ?ction?s will be spinn?ing tunes? all night? long and there? will be plent?y of drink? speci?als. ?Unfortunately Mr. Faust and Rick Scythe are the only members of the band who are over the age of 21 and neither of them will be able to attend, but Fernando Castel (president of Sempiternal Productions/Photographer/Video Director for Nightshade), as well as models from the video will be there with free give-aways and great music.

Nightshade also would like to announce that Dan Yell (keys/organ) and Naught Norty (bass) are no longer part of the band. There are no hard feelings just certain circumstances has forced Nightshade to part ways with these former members. However... Nightshade would like to announce the two newest members to the band: First is Bassist: Dan Geist. Dan Geist is a local bass player who has been supporting the Chicago scene for many years. He was recommended by drummer Timster as the two have been in a band together in the past. Dan's great bass playing as well as professional attitude and image makes him the perfect fit for Nightshade. Second, pianist/keyboardist/organist: Donna. Donna is a classically trained pianist who brings much more depth to the key/organ parts and will be a driving force on the next Nightshade recordings.

Nightshade will be recording new material in the next few weeks and plan for an 'internet only' five-song EP re?lease around Candlemass Eve in 2006. Two new song titles are: 'The Iron Witch' and 'Mount Misery'. All the new songs will be heavier and darker than anything done in the past, yet still 100% compatible with what you'd expect from Nightshade."
