BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi was honored yesterday (November 23rd) as he was immortalized on Birmingham’s Walk Of Stars. The Aston-born guitarist will joins bandmate OZZY OSBOURNE in having his name cemented into Broad Street’s answer to the Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame.
“It’s great, it really is an honour,” he said. “I was very shocked. It’s so nice to have things like that. I’ve got one out in Los Angeles but I’m not from LA, it’s so nice being recognised in your home town.”Watch fan-filmed footage of the event below:
