hot flashes news divine eve

Having announced their return back in February, 2008, Dallas, Texas-based death metallers DIVINE EVE have issued the following update:

"As the moon swallowed the sun in the night sky of February 2008, heathen men of chaos conspired to overthrow the light once again... after 13 years of silence, with fury and hellfire, Divine Eve is reborn!

Under the shroud of secrecy Divine Eve have been crafting old and new blades of distorted vibrations since the passing lunar eclipse of 2008... the candle burns at both ends. The crimson moon returns to midnight...

April 2008, all songs from ages past and new days to come are prepared for the offering. Ashes to burn!

October 2008, Divine Eve enters Klearlight Recording Studios (Engineer Scott Cooksey) to commence the first recordings in 13 years. This EP will consist of 2 new songs and 2 previously unrecorded (by Divine Eve) songs that appeared on the CRIMSON RELIC Purgatory's Reign album. The titles for these songs are 'Whispers Of Fire', 'Ravages Of Heathen Men', 'Vindication', and (another) TBA. The release date is TBA.

Xan (Hammack - guitars, vocals), Matt (Killen - drums), and Mike (Sleavin - guitar, vocals) will continue as a trio with the apocalyptic blessings of Tyson (Lueck - bass). For he is committed to the warrior code in his chosen profession and is unable to proceed along our path.

Paying homage to him we salute and raise our fists in honor! Although irreplaceable, a suitable substitute for live performance will be announced TBA... for the time being Xan is handling bass duties in the studio.

More news to come...

Rid the wings of armageddon."
