Demonic Art is the fifth album from Sweden's DARKANE. It's also the first with new vocalist, Jens Broman, who has given the band new range and depth.

Released in Europe on October 24, 2008 (via Massacre Records), the CD was made available in limited digipack format with exclusive bonus material.

In North America, Demonic Art will be released (via Nuclear Blast) as a CD with a bonus track and a bonus DVD on February 10, 2009. View more information on the North American release below.

According to the band, "12 songs ended up on the final version, with about 48 minutes of pure aggressive, brutal, melodic, modern, technical, furious, fast, heavy and insane thrash metal! We are very proud of this album and we know for sure that if you liked what we've done before you won't be disappointed in any way this time either. Darkane has developed in a way that hopefully will give us new fans as well, not meaning that we've turned softer or more mainstream... just better... and more humble."

Darkane will be direct support to label mates SOILWORK, alongside WARBRINGER, DAYLIGHT DIES and SWALLOW THE SUN from January 30th to March 22nd in The United States and Canada.
