BENEDICTUM vocalist Veronica Freeman provided KomodoRock.com an exclusive tour diary from the band#s recent European road trip with GIRLSCHOOL. An excerpt appears below:
"Hey folks,Well, it is time to tell the tale of October 2008 and a small tour with Girlschool!! Oh and lets not forget the V8 Wankers as well. What a blast! To be honest we were supposed to have played the Metal Female Voices Festival in 2007 but due to some family problems on my end were unable to attend. So... we were offered the slot in 2008 and it worked out cool to hop on the tour with Girlschool while out there.
The other factor that made this really special for us was that we were reunited with our original drummer Blackie Sanchez for this trip. Felt like old times and family! Thanks bro... good to have you with us!
The greatest thing about being able to do this stuff is the people you meet and the memories you create. Although there are some moments that were a bit rough, some miscommunications galore as far as some of the arrangements, and all the great trappings that come with being on the road, I must say... would we do it again?.. HELL YES!
I won't bore you with a ton of daily details... just some of the highlights and things that we will carry with us always."
