LOUDNESS frontman Minoru Niihara has issued the following tribute (in Japanese) to drummer Munetaka Higuchi, who passed away on November 30th following a long battle with liver cancer. He was 49 years old.

"I miss you.

Yesterday, Higuttsuan (his nickname) departed. The day I met you, many albums that we made together, countless concerts we played, all the drinks we drank.....I will never forget. I'm so devastated.

Higuttsuan, thank you for everything.

Thank you for everyone who sent me encouraging emails. I thank you all from bottom of my heart....
