German rock outfit THE NEW BLACK, featuring SINNER guitarist Christof Leim, have iussued the following update:
"Dear Blackies & Blackettes,We were voted into the Top 10 of a competetion held by the With Full Force people to get one band to play the Dubai Desert Rock Festival in March '09. As previously reported, The New Black recently signed with AFM Records. Their debut album will be released on January 23rd in Germany and January 26th in the rest of Europe. A North American release is expected later on in 2009.
