Summer Breeze Open Air 2009 - AMORPHIS Confirmed

Finnish metallers AMORPHIS are the latest acts confirmed for the 2009 Summer Breeze Open Air festival which is set to take place August 13th - 15th, in Dinkelsbühl, Germany.
The following bands are now confirmed: AMON AMARTH, AMORPHIS, BRAINSTORM, CALLEJON, CATARACT, CORVUS CORAX, EPICA, EVOCATION, HATE ETERNAL, THE HAUNTED, J.B.O., KATATONIA, KATRA, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, SCHANDMAUL, UNHEILIG, VOLBEAT, WINTERSUN.

The Radio Rock Finlandia 2008 awards were held last night (December 5) at the Ice Hall in Helsinki, Finland. Footage of Amorphis performing 'Her Alone' can be viewed at this location. An interview with the band can be viewed here.
The event was broadcast live by Radio Rock and the Finnish TV channel Nelonen. The Radio Rock Finlandia award - which recognizes the achievements of a domestic group or artist which has active during the past year - was presented to NIGHTWISH.
