December 8, 2008, 15 years ago
Brooklyn, New York-based metallers GWYNBLEIDD have issued the following statement regarding the tragic death of Adrian 'The Energizer' Bromley who passed away in his sleep on December 7th, 2008 at the young age of 37:
"It is with a heavy heart and a deep feeling of sadness that we have just learned of the passing of our friend Adrian "The Energizer" Bromley at the young age of 37.Adrian was the editor of Unrestrained! Magazine, worked for a time at The End Records in charge of their public relations, and has recently founded his Ixmati Media company representing many labels and bands.
Ever since the first contacts with Adrian, long before the Gwynbleidd put out it's first efforts, Adrian was already a wealth of knowledge, contacts, and advice. He was the first one to open doors for us at the time when no-one else knew or cared about the aspirations of this project. He was going to be there, as always, to help, advise and open doors as we march on with our upcoming effort... He will be sorely missed as a friend and as a mentor."
