CENTAURUS-A Stream New Music Online

Listenable Records reports:
"German newcomers CENTAURUS-A have just put two new songs on their MySpace, taken from their upcoming album to be released on Listenable Records in March 2009."Check out the tracks 'The Ease' and 'Selfmade Cage' here.
As previously reported, Centaurus-A will be releasing their debut album, Side Effects Expected, on Listenable Records in March 2009.
Centaurus-A define their musical goal as follows: "We're constantly working on developing a unique style of metal, always trying to push our technical limits as musicians to new levels."
Side Effects Expected is a collection of rapid and savagely melodic death metal and was recorded with Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, INVOCATOR) at Hansen studio in Denmark.
The band got their name from a galaxy: "It is one of the most interesting and peculiar galaxies in the sky, and is a strong source of radio radiation (therefore the designation Centaurus A); it is actually the nearest radio galaxy. Centaurus A galaxy has swallowed another galaxy similar to ours about 2 billion years ago."
Formed in 2000, the band has released three demos : Last Step Line (2000), Nimbus (2001) and Narcotic (2003).
Centaurus A is: Johannes Henke (vocals), Hernan Martinez (guitars), Maik Matanovic (guitars), Michael Ahlgrimm (bass), Patrick Schroeder (drums).
