German folk rock / metal heroes SUBWAY TO SALLY just finished the production for their tenth album.

Kreuzfeuer will be released on April 3rd, 2009 (Nuclear Blast Records) and was recorded at Horus Sound Studio, Hannover with producer Fabio Trentini. The vocal tracks were laid down at Denmark's Lundgard Studio with Aino Laos.

Subway To Sally vocalist Eric Fish states:

"Hello friends,

A quite eventful year is heading towards it's end. The start could not have been better for Subway To Sally. In February we won - unexpected as some might say - the Bundesvision Song Contest. Driven by that we played a very nice tour in spring and also began to work on our new album.

To let you know officially, it will be called Kreuzfeuer. It’s a running gag of journalists to ask us what genre we feel we belong to. Kreuzfeuer is just another proof for how much we enjoy switching between musical borders. We spent weeks jamming in the the rehearsal room, wrote a lot of songs and separated the good and the band ones until we had the tracks we found to be good enough to satisfy us as well as our audience.

Soon after our tour in October we began to record the album at Horus Sound Studio, Hannover and Lundgard Studio, Denmark. Today, one day before our traditional X-Mas tour, all songs are done and mixed and everybody’s just so happy about it. Thanks to our Producers Fabio Trentini and Aino Laos (vocals) every single one of you can expect a really powerful album that shows everything from tears to danceable tracks as well as unforgetable melodies!

Although we were really suffering from all the efforts of the last months we are super happy to be able to play those 9 last shows for this year. The new album will be out on April 3rd and we will support it on tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland from April 16th on. After that we will be taking a break just playing four chosen festivals (M’era Luna a.o.). Also we won’t play a tour in fall next year but will be back for Christmas though.
