SOILWORK guitarist Peter Wichers, who returned to the fold earlier this year, has issued the following update:

"Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

So much has happened since my last update. I've been touring with Soilwork in Europe for the last 5 weeks alongside with some great people, and I've had a blast on stage with the guys in Soilwork.

Soilwork sounds tighter and better than ever before and the chemistry in the band is amazing. I can't wait to embark on the US tour now in the end of January to show everyone that the band is still on fire.

Me and Sylvain recently joined the ESP family after being a part of the Caparison company for nearly 7 years. There is no grudge between Caparison and I, but I felt like I needed to try something new and ESP was the first choice for me after Caparison.

There are some other endorsements I am working on and one that I am very very pleased to announce if the fact that we also are exclusive artists of ENGL apmplifiers. I have used ENGL on may albums, but was never a 100% convinced until I tried a new amp on the European tour. These amps sounds HUGE and have so much versatility so you really only need that and nothing else.

Soilwork is also proud to announce that we will work alongside with the danish company TC Electronics (which are top of the line stuff) and we will be using their products both on tour and in the studio for the future.

As far as production goes I have been forced to turn down jobs because of the hectic schedule of Soilwork, but I will start taking inquiries again now in 2009 and look forward to getting back into the studio and tweak those knobs again he he!!!!

Anyhow, 2009 looks like it's going to be one hell of a year and I wish all you boyz and gals a very happy holiday and hope to see the ones in US and Canada on the road in early 2009."

Sincerely,

Peter Wichers
