PAIN, the project centred around Swedish producer, songwriter and performer Peter Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY), has just been announced as main support to NIGHTWISH on March 11th at Brixton Academy in London, England.

Pain’s latest studio album Cynic Paradise was released through Spinefarm Records UK on October 27th. Produced by Tägtgren himself and showcasing Nightwish front-woman Anette Olzon on guest vocals, Cynic Paradise features 11 brand new tracks, including ‘I’m Going In’, ‘Monkey Business’ and first single/video ‘Follow Me’.

The UK-only version of the album comes complete with four bonus tracks, including ‘Trapped’ - a song plucked from Peter’s past - plus a remix of the ‘Follow Me’ single.

Pain’s breakthrough album Rebirth, originally released in 2000, was also reissued by Spinefarm Records UK on October 27th. Strong of melody and dark of vision, this was the outing (Tägtgren’s first for Universal) that truly put Pain on the map, with songs such as ‘End Of The Line’, ‘Suicide Machine’ and ‘On On On’ ensuring that the ever-busy Tägtgren was now going to be busier still.

This 2008 reissue features two bonus tracks, an enhanced video (the uncut version of ‘End Of The Line’), revised & expanded artwork plus a whole array of sleevenotes, including background comment from Tägtgren and industry folk key to the project.
