SPICE AND THE RJ BAND - New Album Due Out In February

Legendary vocalist/songwriter Spice (KAYSER, ex-SPIRITUAL BEGGARS) is ready to come back with the new album from his own Spice And The RJ Band, also featuring drummer Bob Ruben (Kayser, THE MUSHROOM RIVER BAND), which draw the attention of both public and press with the release of the superb debut album The Will in 2007. The band is driven by Spice’s insane passion for ‘70s psychedelic/soul/blues/hard rock sound that never went by during all this years and the new effort, Shave Your Fear, coming out in February 2009 on Scarlet Records is a new, powerful statement from one of Sweden’s most talented musicians and his boys. Shave Your Fear consists in 15 new songs ranging influences from such diverse bands as BLACK SABBATH, LED ZEPPELIN, THIN LIZZY, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, KYUSS, THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, JOHN FRUSCIANTE and many others.
