MEGADETH Frontman DAVE MUSTAINE Taking The Rest Of 2008 Off... Sort Of

MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine has checked in with the following update:
"Droogies!Today I am going back into the studio alone and have postponed our trip up to Spokane, Washington until Tuesday, 12/30. I had planned on taking up a box of review tapes and my laptop to start working on my lyrics for Album 12, but last night I decided that I was so stoked with where I am at with the writing and arranging process, that I will step back and just wait until after our vacation.
I am one of those nutty guys that goes on vacation and still works from his laptop or Blackberry. This is going to be a short post, but I must say that I am excited to see your reactions to the new mini-riff.
I will check in over the week that I am gone for posting here, and in the private forums of our MegaFancClub, and chatting with the members of my Coffee Crew, which by the way, I want to thank you guys for making it possible for the donations that we are going to be able to give to the Orphanage in Mexico.
You have made me so very proud to be able to do something great for these little guys.
So, I am off to do my job (my gift from God and you) one last time in 2008 and not again until 2009. Please keep me in your minds, and your thoughts, and your prayers. I plan on closing out the year with my lip curled!"
