EPHEL DUATH's Davide Tiso - "The Band Need Your Support, Now More Then Ever"
January 6, 2009, 15 years ago
EPHEL DUATH's Davide Tiso has issued the following update:
"Happy new year to all of you, I really hope you are well! For what concern me and the band let's say that I'm happy to have turned the page on 2008. It has been a difficult year, the only smart thing to do now is to keep working hard and to not look back. There's a right time for everything, now it's the time to go back trusting.
I usually hate the period that follows the recording sessions of an album. I feel lost, I get moody, I miss the songs in their not defined shape. Well, the Through My Dog's Eyes post-studio-depression has been even harder. After the recordings a lot of things fell apart around my life and the band. I remained the only member of ED, I lost the family I was building in France, I lost my dog BostonCoppa. I remained without money and without a roof.
It sounds kind of weird to turn my thoughts into positive after all this dark, but this is what I'll do. So, let's bless the caught that your best friend offers. Let's bless the nights together, walking and making plans in the cold of a new city. Let's bless the fact that this guy trust in what I trust: my band. This guy is Guillermo Gonzales, the new singer of ED.
We are rehearsing with a new drummer and an additional guitar player. The guys are incredibly talented. I'll let you know details soon.
I will start to use this blog like a band's diary, I think I already told you this in the past, this time I'll do it for real.
The band need your support, now more then ever. For starting let's keep in touch through this page more than before, then let's tell everyone that the new Ephel Duath album Through My Dog's Eyes will be out on January 26.
After all the mess I faced to offer you this album, I think it deserves to be listened. Am I wrong?"
