DEEP PURPLE Guitarist Guesting WIth KANSAS In Kansas

DEEP PURPLE guitarist Steve Morse's former band KANSAS are due to to film a live concert DVD, titled There's Know Place Like Home, in Kansas on February 7th, 2009, to commemorate the band's 35th anniversary. According to www.kansasband.com: "The event at Washburn University's White Concert Hall will feature musical highlights spanning the collective's renowned catalogue, along with performances by special guests and the 50-piece Washburn University orchestra."
Tickets are on sale now and available through the band's official website. All online ticket purchases at www.kansasband.com will include a final copy of the DVD upon its release, at no additional charge. "Confirmed special guest appearances include original founding guitarist Kerry Livgren and former lead guitarist Steve Morse."
