Guitarist Stevie Salas has checked in with the following update:

"So I left Canada after shooting my TV series (Arbor Live) and the 10 below zero cold in early December and jumped on a plane to Hawaii to spend the holidays (two and a half weeks worth) hangin' with friends and family on the beach and it was so awesome!

Yes, I love Hawaii and it was my second time on holiday there in 2008, but this time was extra cool since my old pal Koshi Inaba from the BZ was in Hawaii with his family too. We had a great time doing normal non-rock things like rockin' the bar b q !!! The surf was super small but what can I say... nothing... so when I returned January started with a boom cuz as soon as I got home I had to jump on a plane back to Winnipeg, Canada to shoot more of my TV series, which btw is SO funny. The concert footage and bands are great too. But when I landed it was not 10 below zero, it was 49 below zero! Never have ever felt anything like it and after the warm tropics...uggggggg, but I got out alive and started this week in LA again with young David Cook and his awesome band getting things sorted with the young brothers since they are leaving to rock in Iraq for our boys and girls over there.

This same week I will rock with my pal Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER) at the Key Club with the DARLING STILLETOS, those rockin' hotties. Then we have the NAMM show this week as well as recording sessions with TM Stevens on bass and Brian Tichy on drums, then a quick trip to Toronto for my TV show, a fast day in Dallas, Texas to record with Dave Abbruzzese (ex-PEARL JAM), then Costa Rica for some surf and a b-day party....

Okay then, January 2009 will end with me right back in Winnipeg and the f***ing cold filming my TV show, so there you have it.

I plan on touring this year too to Asia and Europe as well as producing lots of cool bands and singers, so get ready dudes and chicks, this indian boy is on a mission."

See ya soon,

SS
