IRON MAIDEN's February 10th concert Belgrade Arena and it will be their only performance in Europe in this part of their world tour Somewhere Back In Time. The forthcoming event has attracted a lot of interest of domestic and foreign audience and about 10,000 tickets have already been sold out.

After the concert in Belgrade, the popular band will leave for Dubai, India and New Zealand and they will end their tour in South America. Iron Maiden will perform at the Belgrade Arena on a stadium stage over 20 meters wide with 12-ton stage equipment and much pyrotechnics, while about 80 people will make sure that the whole organization goes smoothly. The band will fly to Belgrade by “Boeing 757” called Ed Force One with Bruce Dickinson, the singer of the band, as a pilot.

“We are happy to start 2009 at the Belgrade Arena. Our aircraft will be loaded with as much equipment as it is possible, with a lot of pyrotechnics,” says Steve Harris, the founder of the band, adding that they will mostly play songs from the first four albums.

“On the last route of our tour we will mostly play a lot of old songs and we will do our best,” Harris announces and recalls an excellent performance in Belgrade in 2007. The legendary singer Bruce Dickinson, the professional pilot, will land at Nikola Tesla airport just like two years ago, but this tour on which he will fly 80,000 kilometers is a special experience for him.

“This tour has been unique so far, with the whole team and equipment on the aircraft and it has been one of the most successful, exciting and amusing tours in the whole career of the band. Flying by Ed Force One around the planet and playing for numerous fans in many countries was an unforgettable experience. Flying and playing are the greatest challenges and pleasures in my life,” says Bruce Dickinson.

The aircraft Iron Maiden - Ed Force One will be back in a regular traffic after the end of the first part of the tour in March 2009 and will fly for the Bruce Air during the European part of the tour. When not on tour, Dickinson transported by this plane passengers to and back from Afghanistan, as well as tourists to different destinations. Lauren Harris, the daughter of the founder and the bassist Steve Harris, will perform as a guest of the concert. Current prices of the concert tickets are 2,590 (grandstands), 2,990 (pit), 3,190, 3.690 (golden seats) and 3,990 dinars (fan pit). Organizers point out that prices might change depending on the euro-dinar exchange rate.
