According to El Universal, AEROSMITH have cancelled their February 1st concert in Caracas, Venezuela at Estadio Olimpico as part of the three-day Solid Fest.

According to a press release, Perry was in Boston and had an accident in which he fractured his knee and had to undergo emergency. According to doctors, Perry will take three or four months to carry out his rehabilitation treatment.

Solid Show Productions informs everyone who bought tickets for the Aerosmith concert - which is awaiting confirmation from the band for a new date - are entitled to a refund.

Aerosmith are currently working on material for their 15th studio album - the first album of original material since 2001's Just Push Play. Tyler recently confirmed that the band plans to begin a new US tour in April of 2009, in support of the as-yet-untitled album.
