MEGADETH Drummer SHAWN DROVER - "I Have Completed My Drum Tracks..."

MEGADETH drummer Shawn Drover has checked in with the following update on January 17th:
"NAMM thus far has been a fun experience for me, though certainly the toughest thing is trying to hook up with everybody you want to see. For those of you who have not been to NAMM, imagine 20 super target stores put together with 4 million musical vendors, and 397 million people inside. Needless to say it is a difficult task trying to find all of your friends (oh ya, and most people's cell phones lose signal at various points - ack!!). With all that said, it is still a fun hang. I have a few signings today and I will try to hook up with those I could not yesterday. Wish me luck on that one...All things are going smoothly in Mega-land with the new record. I have completed my drum tracks, but I will be back at the studio on Monday for rehearsals and any last minute drum tweaks that may occur, then I fly home on Tuesday to spend a few quality weeks with my family before we head off on the Killing Road with JUDAS PRIEST and TESTAMENT. You know that is going to rule..."
